New Priest-in-Charge of St John’s, Chevington, and St Cuthbert’s, Amble.

What a wonderful evening celebrating the licensing and installation of Rev Rachael Dine as the new Priest-in-Charge of St John’s, Chevington, and St Cuthbert’s, Amble.

It was a joy to spend time with our friend, the Bishop of Newcastle, Helen-Ann, who shared such moving, inspiring, and joy-filled words. Her message brought both hope and encouragement as we look to the future.

This was a truly joyful celebration of what lies ahead for our churches and the communities they serve. It was heartening to see so many different church communities come together in welcome and support. I know both congregations and the wider community will be thrilled with this permanent appointment, especially as we continue to mark life’s important moments in these special churches.

Lovely, too, to see our Parish Councillors, Paul and John, representing East Chevington Parish Council the parish where the beautiful St John’s Church stands.
