Advance Northumberland does some fantastic work, and I want to see that continue.
However, as a wholly owned company of Northumberland County Council, it must also be more open, transparent and accountable. Better information sharing and genuine cross-party engagement will help build confidence and trust.
This isn’t about politics it’s about good governance and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to work together in the best interests of Northumberland.
