Eviction fears ahead of universal credit rollout in Northumberland

I asked the Conservatives in Northumberland to give commitment against eviction or being penalised by the Council as a result of Universal Credit. Given the issues experienced in other areas and Courts intervening I thought it was a perfectly reasonable request in order to make sure the Council supports residents rather than penalises them. Clearly the Tories cold response and all this muddled attempt to justify is really just exposing further the lack of care and decency this Tory Council plans for its residents in the future.
